Fordyce Trail Runs August 2010
 

Ran Fordyce 3 times this week . First trip (Sunday), Ran down Winch Hill 5 to the bottom of Winch Hill 3 and then turned around and came back. Second trip (Tuesday), Ran up the trail from bottom to top. Water crossings very DEEP since water flow has not been sut down yet! Thrid trip (Wednesday), Winch Hill 5 down to first water crossing. A CJ5 broke his rear tranfer case output shaft so we had to frieght train him back winching him up 3,4 & 5. Got back to Meadow Lake @ 11pm when we strarted the day at 9am. I had no brakes on trail and needed NO winching or strapping. Goofing off chasing a Bronco on Thursday I lanched my Yota off a water bar (HUGE SPEED BUMP) on a forest service road and got about 4 feet of air. Did not even see it! Ended up bending my axle tube giving me about 30 degrees negative camber on the left front :pissed:. I'll be back up on Wednesday for Sierra Trek 2010 to be a vender of Prothane & Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings. Hopefully the YOTA will be coming with me
