First Real Offroading With Runner (pics)

Well me and one of my buddies where going to uwharrie national forest to go wheeling a little. Well after planning to go several times and my friend backing out I decided to go solo. I didnt try anything crazy because I didnt want to get stuck alone or scare my truck up. I had a good time but I wish I could go with some one next time so I would not have to pick the easy line every time. I only had to turn around at one trail that I tried. I ran up on steep rock ledge and after turning around I got hung on a rock and ended up scatching my front bumper up on a tree trying to get around it.

I firgured some of you would never think you would see the day. ha ha

That is a good looking truck you have there.
How did she do off road? Did you have any rub with those 305s?

Thanks for the pics.

awesome lookin 4runner. I like the color, tire size, everything. Thanks for the pictures.

believe it or not no rubbing. My truck did great I thought. I went though some stuff with that was pretty hard with no effort realy. I did try anything crazy just going up and down steep hills and rock ledges. I when around all of the mud holes. I didnt feel like washing all the mud off. I just got a job at a bank and I dont think my runner sitting out front covered in mud is what they want to see.

thanks for all of the complements. I realy had a good time but I am sure it would be better with some freinds.

Good looking rig!

What's so bad about taking the easy lines?
I take the easy lines all the time. Save the hard lines for when you don't have an option :D

Hi there, Great looking 4runner. I was just curious if your runner is a 4x4 or 2x4? If 4x4, how did you lift your ride that high with the infamous cv angle limitation? I've had this problem forever and looking for a way out. thanks for any advice

YodasTaco 08-22-2004 08:32 PM
