Corral Canyon Carvacre San Diego Crew

Great trip. Some new faces and some old faces with new rigs.

Corral Canyon was not what we expected but then we hadn't been there since the fires. We will see how it looks this coming spring after a full year.

Some pics:

More to come from the other guys!

Hey Guys! I had a great time coming out and wheeling with everyone. Good to see you Eric and Marc. Good to meet some of the wheelers I have not got a chance to wheel with and the new members. See you guys on the next trail run hopefully.

Eric, let me know when you want to get together and go up to Stone Brewery.

Awesome! Keep them coming if anyone else took any more pics.

Bummer Andy. I am sure it will turn out as B.A. as the bumpers.

^ the lower half of the radiator is exposed and I'm getting a new bumper soon. Plus I run my AC at full blast when its 100+ out and never see my needle go past half way mark. I think it will be ok.

As for wheeling, CC was a bummer, but carveacre was cool. I pretty much took the hardest lines I could fine going both ways and didn't have TOO many problems. Somehow lost a bolt on my rear sway bar at some point.

Thanks Eric for arranging this. I think we still have time for another run before its too hot out there.

I had alot of fun this run as always. I had a couple of new guests along this time, Erin and Sophie. Erin had fun but being new to wheeling I could tell she had quite a few uneasy moments (which I fully enjoyed), Sophie on the other hand had almost no fun at all she was miserable the whole way on Carveacre (see pic). Zoey on the other hand is a seasoned veteran and no matter how rough the terrain gets, she's still calm, cool and collected. Basically she just sleeps

It was great meeting those I haven't had the privelege of wheeling with before and seeing those that I have again. We'll have to do it again soon.

Marc will get a little satisfaction out of knowing that I found my front panhard rod bolt hanging halfway out when I got home. Guess I forgot to Loctite that one Sorry I didn't ge more pics but I was trying to go a little slower for Sophie which kind of held me behind the pack.

"Sophie"

I have been dealing with this metal on metal rattle for a while now....I thought it was the All-Pro upper links (cheap heims) or some part of the rear suspension. On my way back from Carveacre it was worse than ever. When I got home I started checking things out, and found that the noise was coming from my banged up gas tank skidplate...it rattles against the gas tank. When I have a few minutes I will drop it down and try to get it straight.

While your at it, look for some good mounting points and we could fab you a skid. You may be able to use the existing ones but weighing in at 30+lbs I would rather go with some Grade 8. Let me know.....now's the time. You could be the guinea pig for the rest of the 86-95 crowd.
