4Runners on dunes - Chile
 

A couple of friends and I went to the Ritoque sand dunes on Saturday to test two recently lifted 4runners: Roland's 3rd Gen LTD with Sonoran Steel lift and Alejo's 4th Gen SR5 on OME/Toytec, both running 285s. They were both very pleased with the suspension lifts. Roland's 3rd gen still rubs a bit on the front, anda top plate spacer is in the plans.

You'll also see my 4runner (white), MacMarquez's 4Runner (with the roofrack), Mauricio's SAS'd Hilux and Pancho's recently acquired (stock for now) Tacoma.

very cool video. for heavy trucks the 4Runner's did pretty good.
it looks like you had the dunes to yourself, but might consider some of these down the road:

Years ago I got a good deal on a VW engine out of rail after a CJ-5 came over a rise and landed on the passenger side...no flag as required to run the Dunes in Oregon
