11-1-2008 Ocotillo Wells

Well last night i headed out there after work with my jeep buddy, her dad was out there with family friends and all the quads

Pics....

Typical Me

My heep buddy...

Same hill, Different angle...

I want one now

All all it was a great trip...
I took it easy cause i did have to drive home...
I went to the gas station roughly 5 miles out of camp as i was leaving, and as i was pumping gas some guy was like....dude your leaking...
Turns out some how the filler nozzle ripped...
No pics of that, too rushed to get back for work..

Enjoy...

My advice to you: Stay off the Quads!! they are addicting. Last time we went with a family friend I actually got my wife into the Toy shop. Financing on 5 of them would have killed me

What kind of wheeling are you looking for? The closest places to offroad is about 40-50 miles depending where in San Diego you're coming from, but these are short technical trails (Carvacre and Corral Canyon). Everything else is about 90 miles. Either way I'd be up for meeting up and wheeling.

Yeah im definitely down to meet up and do some wheeling. I usually like to wheel more technical trails but i dont want to do anything too crazy since i have to drive it home 9 hours. I can do some mild to moderate trails as long as i take it easy and dont do anything stupid. Ill post up a new thread when i know the dates im gonna be down there and hopefully we can get a few people together and do some wheelin.

So heres the deal, My jeep buddys family originally planned on being out there for the weekend with their family friends and she invited me...
I told her a couple people on here asked if they could come.
She said hell yeah, As Long As no loud music at night and your respectful to her rents and ...
Basically the more the marrier, as long as everything stays chill....

ahha,, how rude...

Actually they started getting dusty, so i put them in the carriying case and tucked them away safely in the glove box, ill never wear them out there again..they are too expensive...

On another note, the next day at work I found a set of cheep whitey redneck glasses that I went ahead and said "these would be good in the desert"
