Best Free HTML Editor?

Hey all, it has been forever that I have doen HTML and I need to support our work. What is the best HTML editors out there that are free. I am not a whiz bang programmer. The more GUI the better, but when it comes down to it I learned editing in a TXT editor so I know how to do it.

If Free is no good - what do you guru's use and about how much for a single license?

Do you have MS Office?
If so, it comes with one called Front Page.
I swear by it, it is easy to use.

DO NOT US WORD! It adds tons of code that will make it hard to find any errors! Front page is okay but adds a lot of useless code as well. I say use notepad and hand code, if its simple stuff it won't take long to get the hang of it, if its really complicated code I would recommend spending the money and getting Dreamweaver

The spammer clod above bumped this thread.

And for what it is worth, I built my entire personal website with MS Front Page 2003.

My bad I just say it on the new post list and didn't check the dates on the first posts

. I have used Frontpage to build sites and it worked great, I then used it to build a multimedia CDROM and it did some strange things when it added its one code. Personally I prefer dreamweaver or to hand code but that's just me. But like I said I would never use word and I know there are people out there that do
