In the market for In-Dash GPS. Info needed

on one of my recent outings i just couldnt seem to find this trail that I was looking for. Luckily my sister had her handy GPS smart phone. Well that got me thinking. I need one of those!!! So i am now in the market for an In-Dash Gps. looking at a few different ones. Would love to do a cool "pop out of the top of the dash...thing" But to expensive and time consuming. Maybe single din cd/dvd/gps with the slide out/flip up 7" screen. (no good if I have a drink in the holder.) Then I came across a 7" touch screen double din cd/dvd/gps/bluetooth/mp3 ect. I really like this one.

Any input/info would be great. Any "cheap" solutions? cool ideas?

I've run into the same problem. Thought I was getting a good deal on an off brand out of China but it didn't last 6 months. Where did you find the one that is pictured? Hopefully others will post some more options.

I have had great luck with kenwood. Stay away from the cheap touchscreens they are clunky and slow. Crutchfield has awesome reviews of all kinds of touchscreen decks some with videos. Just don't go too cheap.

I also purchsed one of the ebay china units . If your just looking for something to fill the hold that plays CDS its ok. But if you want quality and headache free get something name brand.

6 months after purchasing mine the GPS stopped working, and the one year warrenty they talk about is BS. They pretty ignored all of my emails and messages.

But it looks good for just over 200$ and still palys cds, dvds, cd card.
