Question Imput through Intenna

Hi I have a JVC cd/mp3 deck in my 4Runner. It is the KD-G300 and has no audio imput into it. I was wondering if there was a way I could create an imput for my iPod? The model the next step up, KD-AX300 or something like that, has an audio imput on it.

My major question is could I hook up a switch to the antenna wire that would give me another imput? Could I hook my iPod up to one part of the switch and the antenna up to the other and have it be a second imput?

Thanks,
Alex

As for your questions, no there is no such thing to do what your thinking. You require a FM Modulator. They are made either wireless, or wired. One plugs in-line from your antenna to your radio (wired), the other transmits on a mostly un-used radio station frequency like 88.1 but requires no connections in the truck (wireless). I recommend a wired one since the wireless ones always give off static and have very very poor sound quality especially in urban areas where there are no unused radio frequencys.

Something like this. But almost any can be used.
