How do I get to the rear speakers

I've looked, and looked, and didn't find anything. How do you get to the rear speakers on a tacoma???

I'm going off of memory from when I took my panel off last year but I think it's similar to Bob's write-up.

It looks a bit different. The speakers have a girlle on them, but I'm not sure if they are able to pop out.

Only problem with that is that I have the extra cab.

you have to take apart the entire rear...there's a write-up somewhere...i'll see if I can find it...no the grills won't pop off....without a dremel that is...

Damn, well looks as if I'm going to have a project when my speakers get here! Maybe I'll do a write up with pictures and what not for every one.

found it dude...this guy took apart everything cuz he was putting down some sound insulation crap...but it tells how to take apart the rear...they're a PITA to get to

the part about the cigaret ligher is inacurate. the two buttons on each side simply press though, catch plastic buttons by reaching under the panel as they fall. still be careful they can and will break
