Aftermarket Stereo Install

What kind of trouble have you all run into while installing an aftermarket head unit (besides the fit problems in the dash panel). My '82 does not have the original unit in it or any other for that matter. I don't even see where there were even any speakers originally in the truck haha. There really aren't many wires or plugs in the radio dash area. So I will be running my own speaker wires.

Any grounding issues?
Power/ACC issues?
Speaker fit issues in the doors?
Any sensitive wires in the dash area (tails/brakes/etc)?
