Check engine light comes on and off
I have a 1994 Toyota 4Runner sr5 4x4. Would anyone happen to know why when I am driving my check engine light will come on for a few seconds (no longer than 10sec) and shut off at random periods. There is no patter that I have noticed. Any ideas on how to check what going on please let me know! Thanks...

Yours is newer then what I am used to dealing with but when I have had a check engine light in the past and no codes, it usually meant a vacuum leak somewhere. See if you have any codes like muddpigg mentioned that could show where the problem is at as well.
