taco front bumper build

This past weekend I got started on getting some stuff done to my truck. I've been into cars for as long as I can remember, but always had a place for toyota trucks in my heart. so two years ago I bought one with some minor mods in mind....
about 6 months ago I aquired a 3 inch procomp spacer lift for the front and add-a-leaf in the rear, threw on some kyb mono max struts and shocks and called it good for now.
in the last 2 weeks i've had some time to burn and some d.o.m. laying around.... time to get started on some fab work. so I borrowed a friends tubing bender and went to town.
My good buddy Noah was in town for the week so he lent me a hand. took about a days worth of work, spread over 2 days to get all the major work done. all that is left is detail and powdercoating....

day one

nice bumper, i think you should add a third support tube in the middle to protect your radiator better.

Bumper looks great man! Only comments are maybe throw in a spot for those turn signals (unless your planning on relocating them in the side markers) and the most important comment when are you building one for me!?

Looks really good. Have you thought about putting some lower tabs or a bar to mount up the front stock skid plates? Again looks good, but I always think my taco looks funny when I remove the skid plates to do an oil change.

thanks for your comments and ideas!
I didn't think to cover the tires from the welding splatter, I'll have to remember when i do the rear and the sliders.
turn signals are going to be relocated to the side markers, and a custom aluminium skid plate will be made to replace the original

What kind of bender did you use?

I was looking at buying a bender I was seeing what other people are using and what type of pipe or tubing they use.

i really like this a lot... i was thinking about something like this but instead of taking the original bumper off i was thinking about drilling some holes in it to send the braces to the frame that way... Anyone ever do anything like that before? if so please let me know
