As far as.......the inlet hose goes from the inline oiler/filter directly to the inlet side of the compressor. The outlet hose goes from the compressor directly to the pencil manifold that's bolted to the charcoal filter.

Easy peezy.

Update, 24OCT11

Another trail run and the system worked great!!!!

I bought a "gun style" tire inflator with a gauge and bleed off valve and that makes the process for filling tires faster. No more stopping to check what the pressure is at with a pressure gauge.

Like this:

I also installed a pressure regulator on the air hose to only push 90 psi through the inflator that's only regulated to 90 psi...

The "idle up" feature on the VSV worked flawlessly.

Only issue I had was that the inline oiler, I believe, is putting too much oil to the compressor. So, I backed it off some. The air hose from A/C compressor to the pencil gauge blew off the fitting on the compressor. That was a nice surprise.... The ATF was saturating the hose and it's getting gummy. So, I'll have to replace that hose with some more oil rated. Fortunately, DC was there and with his suggestion I added some score/gouge lines on the aluminum fitting to help the hose bite onto the fitting better.

Update, 25AUG12

With the motor swap done and a month gone by it was time to reattach the OBA stuff. Pretty simple considering all the parts are there

The fittings on the 3.4 are A LOT easier to work with and took a matter of a few minutes to convert. Once I got everything connected air wise I cut and spliced into the A/C signal wire to allow the pressure switch to control the compressor. I then mounted the inline oiler to the filter box. While I had the box out I put a deck plate in to allow more air in and during rainy drives to prevent water from being pulled in from the snorkel.

Bolted everything back up and tested........and.....tested......and.....nothing happened. Bob. Saget. Not getting power to the clutch on the compressor. Hmmm....time to chase wires.

Today I eliminated the breather filter and plumbed the inlet air via the intake tube. There was an extra port I had capped when I installed the new intake piping.

Also, trying to wire in the idle up feature from the 3.4. Really, the motor at idle runs just fine. No drag so I may not care. Time will tell.

Also, I may move the pop off valve into the engine bay to keep it out of the elements

Well the pop off valve works just fine. The pressure switch I installed to turn on and off the compressor failed :/

Ordered a similar pressure rated switch but a different style. Hopefully that fixes it.
