Havent driven the duals yet. Ive been waiting for the 2wd park pawl and a crossmember. It sucks waiting for parts but it gives you tons of time to spend tooooo much time making a console

The levers are as follows from the driver to the pass:
5:1, 2.28:1, 4wd, trans.

Due to the linkage all the shifts are opposite of stock.

Heres the frame

Here it is during construction, the seat is blocking the most of the linkage (heims) I have to pop the side panel off to hook up the cable for the trans, so ill snap a shot of that

I always wanted to make a custom console and I love supra consoles and early viper consoles so.......

I was going to but I didnt feel like it. I dont think I wanted to molest the face that bad just for a cb speaker

Oh and under the cb speaker there are 2 tiny light bulbs on a switch that will aid me in seeing which gear im in (since the B&M doesnt have gates) at night and night wheeling. They have a little cover over them to protect them and so they dont bother the driver.

Its a busy truck, too busy. Between the auto shifters, winch, 2 torque converter controls, a set of hella 4000's, the duals, the CB.... I tried to keep it quiet and organized, but all I need now is an eject button.

That's the auto trans shifter. It offers gear select, torque converter lockup...

Yup I can selest any gear and any torque converter configuration. Any one who has driven the auto knows that it is shift happy and shifts at the wrong time. I dont really use it off road, but i might now with the duals

Hi,

What did you do for boots? I've my custom auto shifter working perfect but I need something to cover the hole... No duals thought.

The problem is that the auto shifter only goes FF-RR but in a wide motion while the T-Case lever has less movement but in all directions...

Thats tricky. I was going to go with triple stick boots. But as I was designing it I figured I would take advantage of the fact that all 4 of my shifters only move front to back and that would allow me to line them all up. The boots are too bulky. On the underside of the top plate I attached a piece of black leather and cut slits in it to allow the shifters to move. It has worked great.

For you I think I would put a nice compact boot on the t-case shifter and a plate like mine for the auto stick. But since my "boot" doesnt actually protect the interior from the elements I would do something different for yours. Maybe heavy rubber. Or a slide like the stock shifter, install a piece of metal/plastic under the plate and have the shifter go through it so it would slide as the shifter moved....

Or make/buy a cable shifter and call it done (Art carr, locar, B&M...) Mine is a B&M (it was free) I just gutted all the ratcheting crap and just use it as a lever.

Thanks, I thought about that you mention. I'll try the leather/rubber with a cut method or will try to get a twin-stick boot.

I wanted to make a custom twin-stick but I had the idea after the T-Case was bolted to the tranny so it will stay like that.

I'm going to make a custom console similar to yours but not so high. Your's is an inspiration.
