A quote from the cam page:

"March 27-28, 2004: Casey's 1998 4Runner 2WD to 4WD Conversion"

Are you guys really gonna do all this in just two days? wow.

sidethought... do you want some javascript code for the webpage that will _just_ update the pic and not the whole page?

that would be awesome, i was thinking about getting one from revtek, but just ran out of time to order it, as long as my funds permit, i will use the diff drop and the clutch/flywheel.

I made you a set, your gonna have to use the new flywheel/cluch I'm affraid.

I can extend you some credit for the spacers and you can pay me later if you need to. The bolts you can just have since they are used, they are still fine, but I can't sell them.

So will this be set up just like a stock 3rd gen 4x4? Will it have manual hubs? It will be cool to see the progress. Will it be on your site Steve?

Actually it will be better/moredesireable than a factory built 4WD 3RD Gen. It will have manual hubs and a manual front diff, No ADD what so ever.

Yes the pics will be on my site. You can watch the webcam this Saturday, tomorrow.

With great impact to all of you, it is likely I won't be able to stop by and take a look and meet all you guys on Saturday nor take the run on Sunday.

I will be at the BILL LUKE DODGE BASS TOURNAMENT at LAKE PLEASENT the entire weekend.

Sorry to ruin the day for you guys

Hopefully those guys are en-route to the "Old Pueblo" to pick up the tranny & t-case.

I called the shop and the drive shaft bolts are here in Mesa.

Casey called from Tucson, he has the tranny and t-case and is headed to Phoenix right now. So it looks like we are good to go in the morning.

It's done and they are on there way back to California, with fully functional 4WD and this bumper.

http://fastq.com/~sschaefer/rearbumper.html

Vernon did some transmission magic and the W59 is good to go, the thing crawls well, we tested it and then today we fabricated a buch of stuff includeing a W59 tranny (4WD) bracket for a 2WD crossmember.

There is alot more different on a 2WD than meets the eye but in the end we did it, it's fully converted.
