hey I'm wondering if anyone manufactures or knows where to get an inexpensive test pipe/down pipe to eliminate the catalytic converter for the exhaust.. I'm redoing my exhaust and don't require the cat so instead of spending $200 on a new one I'd rather install a pipe that can lead into my cherrybomb that came with my truck
Any advice, options, posts or threads to look at/read through will be greatly appreciated!

I dunno where you can buy one, kinda illegal in many states (esp CA) but you could always simply gut your stock CAT. FYI you can purchase a stock replacement CAT-back for $100 or less.

Any auto parts store sells exhaust tubing pieces that should be long enough to weld in place of the cat. As previously stated though, it's probably not legal. Good luck.

Get some flanges get the pipe and make your own

you can probably just take any old test pipe off ebay as long as its the right length and has the right flanges on it.

or just gut your cat like suggested above, its free and still looks legit if someone peeks under your truck/if you have state inspections.
