I just recently purchased a new set of shocks and lift coils for the front, (bilstien 5100's & Toytech 3" coils) and a set of Total Chaos Uniball upper arms. Im running 2WD, and im building a "Prerunner" style front kit. I plan on getting the secondary shock hoop that works with the stock LCA. I already have ordered gusset kit for the spindles, coil buckets.

My question is in the photos of the secondary shock hoop online I spied a weld on can and a 2.0 or 2.5 bump stop. I have searched high and low for info and more pictures of it so I know how to do it. I was hoping someone on here would have done it and could show me the light....lol. Just need to see how it contacts the LCA and where people were welding the can. Thanks!

Going off the TC picture...

It looks like a short stroke king 2.0 and that the can is welded right next to the coilover on the side of the frame. It seems to hit the lower arm right about where the stock bump stop is mounted. Its probably a custom fabbed mount but you can buy the cans and then put it where ever you want. I would also plate the lower arm where the bump stop would hit because the lower arm will loose that battle after a few good hits.
Not a lot of people on this site have a need for hydro bumps and I cant think of any trucks that have them on here. You'd probably find more pics on tacomaworld, dezertrangers, or ttora.
Having said all that, you should not be going fast enough to need these bump stops with the setup you are going to be running. Until you are running at least a coilover, the stock bumps should be fine.

I left my front bump stop but shaved it down to make contact at full bump as a safety precaution of my hydros blow out. I mounted my 2.0 fox bumps off the frame behind the UCA to contact the existing strike pad on the LCA. thought this cleaner than doing it off the front of the arm. Hope this helps.

It works well. I have stock arms and can keep up with most guys with mild LT kits.

Nice! A couple of my customers running Blazeland Long Arms have done similar configurations and reported positive results as well.
