Early Toyota Owners of Las Cruces
Hi. I'm Paul Ford, founder of ETOOL;˟Early Toyota Owners of Las Cruces. I love early toyota 4x4s. In my opinion, they are the most straight-forward, stout, dependable vehicles ever made. Do you have a Toyota 4x4? Congrats if you do, but if it was made before 1989, we would also like you to join ETOOL. It's as simple as that.
WHAT IS ETOOL?
In my search to finish my own Toyota, I began making friends and contacts which I found to be priceless. I decided to do something to unite these people as one for the good of everyone, and ETOOL was born.
WHAT IS REQUIRED OF ME TO BE AN ETOOL MEMBER?
1. Have a Toyota pickup, Landcruiser or 4runner in any street legal form that runs and pre-dates 1989.
2. Attend the monthly caravan* from Las Cruces to Sunland Park one Saturday a month.
3. Enjoy the contacts you made with other Toyota enthusiasts to ensure that you have the resources for your Toyota live a long and healthy life.
4. Enjoy that there are no fees or further requirements to join.
TELL ME MORE ABOUT THIS MONTHLY CARAVAN.
Once a month, on a pre-determined Saturday, we meet in the morning at The Bean in Mesilla, NM. Coffee, chat and all that stuff. We then drive South down Highway 28 until we arrive in Sunland Park. We then head up Pete Dominici towards Interstate 10 to have lunch at Rudy's. That's all there is to it!
Take the step to be part of something worth being proud of. We value early Toyotas AND their owners. Do the right thing for you and your Toyota. Give me a call. Thanks for taking the time to read about ETOOL.
Highest regards,
Paul Ford

The caravan is paved roads so as to include everyone. There are plans for offroad expeditions in conjunction with the paved caravan which would make it two expeditions a month... But this is not set in stone yet.

O ok, also my bro has an early toyota supra, so this new eTOOL club can include him as well right? I heard of someone starting a local Yota 4x4 club, but there wasn't a TOOL in it. Think these guys go every month around NM hitting up some crazy trails and are affiliated with SWFWDA or LCFWDC. Can't remember the name though....

ETOOL is for pre-89 Toyota 4x4s only. Sorry guys. Those who have those trucks appreciate why I'm keeping a line drawn. If you get your hands on an old Toyota 4x4 give me a call. No hard feelings I hope.

Oh I figured early Toyota with no specification of model. On Facebook so anybody can access it. Paved road drive that even a corolla can do it.
A few of us are getting together tomorrow for some good ole wheelin. No paved roads involved! Lol

Today was the first ever ETOOL caravan!! The weather was perfect and so was the drive. The food was excellent. If you missed this months trek, my apologies, but there is always next month. You should really check out Daniels 22RTE. It's as rare as it is awesome. Stay tuned for next months caravan date.

Had a great time today wish we could have meetings every weekend! Felt good to drive the old yota again. We should get together and do a trail some time in April.
