Trails for a new person to offroading in CO

well i just started to get into 4runners and i would like to take mine out on the trails. Bad thing is I don't know any off road trails in Colorado so I don't know where to start. Also doesn't help that I don't have any friends that 4wheel. Anything near Castle Rock would be pretty cool. 1990 SR5 4wd 3.0L new 31's. pretty much stock. Any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks

Blake,

Which trails are you referring to around Castle Rock? I'm up there all the time but never explored any of the trails.

If the OP is still looking for places to wheel near Castle Rock and you dont mind a quick trip down to Colorado Springs we like to use Eagle Rock and Saran Wrap as our testing grounds for new mods.

I just ran Eagle Rock yesterday to test out my sweet new cooling mods and it has tamed down over the last couple years so you may be able to do most of it with your truck and if not theres plenty of less aggressive trail in the area you can test out!
