Anyone care if I throw together a NY chapter website to get things moving? Once the official website guidelines have been released, it will probably need to be changed, but for now it will get the ball rolling for 4ROC-NY.

Sounds like a plan Jackson.
One thought, are you going to make a template so all of the chapters will have the same look with the exception of say perhaps the logo?
Or, use the main 4ROC logo at the top, then below that one, each chapter can have a modified version of the same one with the abbreviation of their state on it.
Just a thought so all of the pages end up looking the same, and then with a link to the sections here for discussions.
This is pretty neat that it's finally coming together.

Crap... I clicked into the NC chapter forum accidentally - I meant to go into the NY forum. Corey, can you move the thread, or should I start a new one in the correct forum.

Thanks.
Now, to answer your quetion...
I can to a template if people want me to. I'm using (what I would consider to be) a standard 4ROC.com header... something every chapter site could use if they wanted to. Then each chapter could modify it slightly to reflect their state chapter.

Jackson,
I've got one in the works too, as does prolax...
Let's just stay in touch.
Mine is (temporarily) http://ca4roc.scottiac.com

Here's my quick and dirty attempt at a 4ROC-NY chapter page. I'm open to suggestions from other NYers. If we want to go the template route so all chapters look similar, let me know. We should probably get a few web developers to put their heads together to pound out some design ideas... then the masses can critique.

I like the look of that site, Jackson! Looks good. I like Prolax's site also. Before any of you get too far, you need to pull all the ideas together and maybe have a poll for consensus.

NC Chapter page is up and close to completion. The link to it is in my Signature.
As for templates, I dont think they are neccesary, as long as the page looks profesional, clean, and doesn't have anything outrageous or dumb.
If you need a 4ROC Logo for your chapter with the correct abreviations and all, please e-mail me and I can make one for your state and send you the .JPG version (or if you ask, I can send other versions of the file also).
