I was just looking through some old threads for laughs, when I saw that you said Marines live a horrible life. Some of my family are marines, and I am going to boot camp in a few months. They all love what they do, and some of them went back to Iraq and Afghanistan 3 and 4 times voluntarily because they actually believed in what they are doing, besides what you might hear they are actually helping people over there. Before you compare soldiers serving as to serving jury duty, and then say that only the intelligent don't serve, maybe you should see what it's like for yourself.

Just one person's view Dave... and you have to admit there are some less then honest recruiters out there selling some kids a real bill of lies to keep their numbers up... fortunately they are few and far between...
