Hey! We've been going to Uwharrie for years in the old CJ7 but now its gone and we have a 4Runner.....hope to meet some of yall out on the trails soon. We should have it trail ready in another couple weekends (hopefully....gotta get some tires and shocks, nothing else too major we hope) so maybe we can make it down there before it closes for the winter.
Will check back here, but our email is ellerc@bellsouth.net if anybody sends out notices of upcoming events. Thanks!

Welcome!
Glad to hear you made it over from the DARK side! Definately check out the fall colors thread. Tellico is definately a blast, but I would recomend some sliders. Which is the current topic over in that thread. Anywho, cheers and welcome aboard!

Thanks for the invite! Unfortunately due to working too much OT probably won't make an overnight run until after the first of the year (accumulate some more vacation time). Uwharrie and Brown Mtn up near Lenoir we can do in a day though...so if anybody is interested let us know. We're looking to be ready for some trails by mid-Oct, unless we run into some mechanical stuff we're not expecting.

Yeah I am still here occasionally, Just not as much. I did put a new posting on my new fender flares that I got from a Trucking Parts place. I think it may be the hook up of the year if ya want flares.
Hope your holding strong down there on the coast, Won't make it through all these storms un-touched Ill bet.

Hey Chris!! Good to hear from you, Daniel told us that you had moved to Minnesota (?) Hope all is well with you. Ran across some pics of your truck from the last time at UNF a couple days ago.
Still trying to get this Toyota road-worthy and test it out a few times before we take it offroad....but there just arent enough hrs in a day sometimes. Right now the plan is a Downey 2 inch lift, 1 inch body lift (does this need steering mods? have heard yes and no), and prob 32 inch tires, 33's if they will fit. IF ANYBODY READS THIS AND HAS SOME SUGGESTIONS PLEASE POST!!! Will post pics as soon as the clutch is back in and we can get it out of the garage. Thanks for the advice!
