I DUNNO, I REALLY WOULD PAY FOR ANOTHER BALANCE ALTOUGH DISCOUNT TIRES HAVE LIFETIME BALANCING AND ROTATING FOR FREE FOR ME. I DONT KNOW MY TRUCK WAS SHAKING BEFORE I GOT NEW TIRES AND IT'S DOING THE SAME THING WITH MY BFG TIRES. I REALLY WISH THIS WAS A SIMPLE PROBLEM THAT CAN EASLY BE FIXED, SHAKING IS SO ANNOYING!

You're talking about the "Haweka Adapter" and looking for a shop that uses the "Hunter GSP 9500" balancer.

The adapter holds onto the wheel in a different way, and the Hunter will apply downforce on the wheel while it's being spun to simulate it being on the road. This is known as "Road Force Balancing".

The "normal" balancer is basically just a cone that comes up through the middle of the wheel. A clamp is placed on top, and then it spins the wheel in the open air. The problem with that is that the wheel can be sitting just a hair crooked on the cone, and if that happens, the balancing will be off.

Simulating the tire being on the road during balancing is a bonus on top of that.

You'll have to call around to tire shops to find the machine. Some of the Les Schwab's have them, but not all. My local one didn't when I had my new tires put on, and I haven't worked too hard to find one that does. But, I don't have any real issues either. It's kindofa' coin toss sometimes.
