I am in Tahoe everyday for work and will make this trip, if it's something my 87 will make it through. Barker pass off of the Rubicon is a great trail but I'm not sure if it'll be open then.

paddlenbike (ken) pm'd me the other day and asked "what's next?" i said we should do something next year, possibly another trip that is as centrally located as can be to the so cal and no cal crowds. ken suggested anza. anza is in SD for those of you who dont know. while i'd like to go, are there other options in central, CA?

Just putting up a notice...Reggie suggested a trail in central CA. There is a thread on it now, look it up and see what you think because I really like the idea of a SoCal/NorCal unison run.

If anyone has any more info on trails in Central Cali, shout out because it seems like some you just get to and then there is a gate midway. Would be nice to avoid that

I'll look into it tomorrow...Hungry Valley too, thanks for the idea.

50-75 rigs would drive me crazy.
the 20 mile run up to the snow sounds good, how long did it take?
any others like it?
anything to make a full day, without to much carnage? possibly a trail then lunch somewhere on the way then another trail or two?
like to go out for the peace and quiet, and hanging with friends.

I've never been snow-wheeling before, I'd like to try it out.

I have no suggestions except for somewhere... uh... in the Sierras...

BTW-- Im in Fresno right now, but, moving back to Santa Cruz... so Im not really in SD like my location suggests.
