egr tube??

Have an unidentified part that I need a gasket for, Napa said its an egr tube, kragen didn't have a result, its on a 1986 Toyota pickup 4wd 22r engine, part comes off exhaust manifold on the top, and I have gaskets for mating surface between manifold and part, here is a picture of the part and its opposite end mating surface

NOT the EGR. Tubing for the PAIR/Secondary Air Injection system. Its part of the smog equipment. It inducts filtered air into the exhaust while warming up to aid the catalytic converter.

Toyota SHOULD have it. If they dont, then thats BS. Hah. It might be part of a larger gasket set only now. Who knows. I know was able to get certain gaskets for my '95 22re, but mine is 9 years newer than yours .

Dont necessarily need the part number. Just tell them what it is, or ask them to bring up a smog equipment schematic on their computer for your '86 22r.

Thank you!! I will definitely have them pull up the schematic tomorrow, we got the whole engine gasket set with the new motor we dropped in, that was the only gasket left out and all we have left before the engine is ready to fire up.
