I've wanted one for years but my wife would kill me if I came home with another project, good thing this one's a good distance from me
I'd immediately buy up a cheap Lexus to swap in the 1uz, clean up the interior and polish the patina on the outside. Drive the piss out of it.

Mine would too! And if I didn't trade in my Tundra a couple weeks ago for my 2016 Taco, I would have swap the 2UZ-FE into that Stout! I loved that engine!!

^gotta love the game of bringing home new toys!
I guess I did just sell our Corolla last night, so technically I could justify it as filling the void
Even though I love my pre-smog Hilux, I think I'd ditch it in a heartbeat for a Stout - just don't ever see these trucks ever.

I would love to see someone get it and make it 4WD. There was someone a few years ago who posted one they were going to trash. They only posted a couple of times so I think the project died.
I think some 70's trucks had those hub caps. I don't know if they are original. I went with my dad to buy a Toyota in 1973 and it's amazing what I remember. I wish I'd saved sales brochures. I don't recall ever seeing a Stout in person.
