your engine burns fuel vapor, not raw fuel. the closer the fuel is to vapor in the first place, the better. you get a bigger, harder bang with a cleaner burn that gives you more power and better throttle response. its not magic, it's combustion physics.
Quick question, normally with more power your emissions get worse, so will ones smog readings be worse with these?

My assumption would be that you would actually see better smog readings. The additional power is coming from a more efficient spray pattern and therefore more efficient burn, instead of just adding more fuel and air like most power additives. Therefore you would need less fuel for the same amount of power and should see better smog numbers as a result.

that seems to be pretty much how it goes. it is not magic. it is combustion physics. i have had several (maybe 15) buyers who were able to finally pass cali emissions with the upgrade injectors (they were probably running lean). of course, your mileage may vary.

the 88 is a stand-alone year for the 3vze injectors. it requires the early style (low ohm) injectors with an adapter harness to mate it to the 88 wiring harness. i don't have them listed because too many buyers bought them in error and the injectors killed their ECU.

give me a call at 888-621-0794 and i can get you a set.

If you are still looking for testers, I would be more than happy to do it. I didn't post originally due to my lack of post count.

He clearly gave a number to call and order if you are in such a hurry. No need to get jimmies ruffled over some free injectors. Can you imagine how many PMs he has to wade thru on every forum?
