Using 4wd in a Sequoia

I think that my 4x4 system has a problem. It takes a long time to get it to engage. For the fastest engagement of the 4x4 system, I have to stop my vehicle, put it in neutral, and push the button and then sometimes have to go forward, reverse, neutral and so on. I cant ever get it to engage while moving and in drive.

What is everyone elses experience using the 4wd in their Sequoias?

Had a Ford and never had a problem engaging the electronic , push button 4wd, that was the only thing good about the Ford.

When new, I could put in in 4Hi rolling 45 mph or so. Lately I've been having mercy on the system and usually hit the button rolling about 5 mph in neutral. Goes in every time with no complaint. To diengage, sometimes I do need to reverse, but most times just putting the truck in neutral works for that too.
