Hey all,

It's been a long time since I've been around these parts. I sold my truck years ago (which I desperately regret) and ended up building a Sami for a while. Anyway, I am looking for something a little bigger than the Sami (or a lot) and found this LS swapped 1982 FJ60. I just wanted to see what people had to say, if they've heard of this, things to look for, etc. I have never owned a swapped motor car, but I do love landcruisers and if the work is done properly it could be a cool truck to own. I really don't even know where to begin/what to ask, etc just really looking for some advice.

"1982 Toyota FJ60 with 5.3 LS swap. 110,000 original miles. Originally Tennessee truck no rust except for for minor above rear wheel well. Has 5.3 LS engine from 2004 Chevy avalanche. Transmission is 4l60E automatic attached to stock Toyota twin stick tcase. Runs and drives perfect. Has been daily driver for past year. Average over 20 mpg. Tons of power. Will cruise 75-80 mph all day long. New brakes, and wheel bearings, every fluid on entire truck just changed, including radiator flush, axles and tcase. locker in rear axle, rock sliders, gas tank skid plate.
