82 2wd poor lowering job

hey all. newbie here. just picked up an 82 2wd 22r on the cheap ($800 engine runs well) for a work truck. Part of the reason it was so cheap (besides the s*** rattle can job) is that it is lowered and done quite poorly IMO. The rear leafs have blocks in them, which are easily removed, but the front end is what i'm concerned about. very low and rubbing tires a bit. i'm used to working on 4x4 suspension from my previous 83, but I have never worked on 2wd before. my question is how to get it back up to stock height for now? I know I can crank the torsion bars to raise it a bit, and i'm guessing that's how they lowered it, but i've been reading on here and that will prob only get me about 2". Any other tricks or tips to get it back to stock would be appreciated.
thnx
