so , with the tranny out again , I needed to make a modification for the speedo cable . plasma cut out the section that was interfering , and used a piece of 2" tube to fit .. should work

I know you've got a lot of work yet to do, but the way that tranny mount section is notched out it looks like it could be a weak point. I can't tell how thick that steel is or if there is any support that I'm not seeing but I though I'd throw it out there just in case - I know you would do the same for me (have done so before).

I'm sure you have a master plan in your head about how all this is going to work out, but we aren't mind readers here - if we were then our trucks would all look a whole lot better! LOL

By the way, that's a nice fancy engine you have there. I call dibs on the first ride!!

thanks buddy , as always , I appreciate ANY and ALL input .
This mount is WAY over build , and I plan on cutting even more out , so stay tuned . The actual weigh is the only thing the mount has to support , and as it is a 2WD , I don't need any "rock" protection .... so I'm thinkin' it good

I'm sure you have heard about the 7mgte gasket failures, and you might have also heard about the cause, there was a mistake in the torque specs of the head bolts from the factory, and there is a technical service bulletin about this with the proper torque specs. How do you like the idea of building a front facing intake plenum or complete manifold?

yes I do know of the head gasket failures . when I rebuilt the engine , I used a cometic MLS head gasket and ARP head studs .. torqued to 90 FT LBS (if memory serves) ... I should be good to at least ~ 25 LBS of boost .

with the way it sits now , with the mods I have done and have yet to install , It should dyno just under 400 HP .. I'm gonna leave things on engine just the way I have planned for now ... my thoughts for upgrades--- to go to a T04e turbo AFTER engine has been broken in .. hope to net out @ ~ 600HP

... I had some one else "suggest" on an other one of my build threads , that I should have gone with another engine choice ... possibly I made the wrong choice ...
I guess only time will tell ...

keep watching , you'll see why THIS is the perfect engine for this build !

and then bent the support struts ....
