finally found some time today to get the tops welded ,

Looking great as always. I'd kill to have a powder coater right about now, but the wife would hang me if she caught me cooking parts in her oven.

I picked up my oven for 50 bucks .. still working now for 3 or 4 years

building a new custom piece .. only avaliable from me .
not a fan of the pillar guage pod , I decided to make my own version .
it will be in the center vents . First I built a "block off" for the center vent off the heater .. fits perfect ! i'm now building the center pillar mould , and thought I would share some pics

Atta boy! It's definitely becoming a lost art. There's only a handful of us left in Floriduh and we are all getting old lol. Keep it up man, the build is very inspiring

glued on the heater vent cover , this will ensure NO air leaks

also , built a new gauge pod and got it mounted to the mock up dash , mocked up the gauges , and now its ready for the final body work and color match to the rest of the interior
