It was worth a shot haha. Your leather work is coming out great. I like the fact your using old leather. Let me know if you run short, I've got alot of old motorcycle racing leathers.

got some work on the console done today .. glued in the shifter boot hold downs , and cut the hole for the lumbar support switch .





also got some work done on the intercooler/turbo piping

So I just became a member here yesterday, I have to say if membership were to cost money, this build would make the fee worth it. Thank you for such an in depth build post. I look forward to seeing so much more from you!!!!

His 83 Trekker build is one of my all time favorite builds.

lots of people bugged me about this .. I just think they don't have the "vision" and couldn't "see" the end product .
it's gonna look smokin' from the underside , as well as the top side .. I think anyway !

still waiting on my power window switches before I can paint the console , but did finalize the shifter boot mounting .

so busy as usual .. but I have managed to get a few things done in the last couple of weekends .
Built my Custom tail gate

also just about finished the air intake system . I had to build a new MAF mount . So I started with the raw chunk of metal and went to work . Cut , welded and powdercoated .. very happy with the final result . Replaced the o-ring , and thread locked the new mount hardware .

air intake now sealed .. just need a few more clamps







and now I think the last "custom" pieces for the engine I need to build .. new W/Washer tank , and rad overflow tank . here is where I'm starting .
