Thanks! You won't regret owning an 80.

Tires make contact with the fenders, when stuffed, so... get out the air tools!

Voila!

Nowhere close by to max it out, but it should be good to go. Removed 1 1/8" of fender.

Started assembling my PrInSu roof rack. I'll mount it to the Landcruiser on Friday. Can't wait to get a roof top tent for this thing!

Fixed distributor o-ring leak. No more drip. Now to find someone semi-local who can steam clean the engine bay...

Updates...

Changed out my charcoal canister, with this GM unit. No more pressure built up in the tank now.

Modified some riser bolts, to fit in the 80/20 on the PrInSu rack, so I can mount Quickfists for my pulaski and shovel.

Went on a drive with the the little ones...

Starting to add some color to the paint scheme. This is the same paint I used on my 240Z project.

Going to take some time to finish the paint project, but I'll update as I go.

Bunch of work today.

Bypassed EGR and smog pump, per Mud instructions.

Fixed wiring on Amazon back up camera.

Installed porch light, for use camping. Should be handy for lighting the ladder area when we get our RTT.

Wired the porch light to this remote relay from Anzo. It has 4 circuits, each with it's own on/off button on the fob. Will be handy for lighting around the 80, as well as having the ability to light the ground from inside the tent, with a push of the button.

Oil change and a bath today. Getting ready for our toy drive tomorrow, at Children's Hospital.

37's and a PrInSu rack, and it fits in the garage! .....with 3 psi in the tires

Also fixed the fuel door by adding a spring to pop it open. The original is MIA.

How did I get so far behind your build? This thing just gets cooler and cooler every time you post something up. Really nice add-ons, nice job on the fenders, the rack looks like it's supposed to be there.

One of my favorite t-shirts has a drawing and the simple words 'nice pulaski' on it. It's one of our most useful trail building tools. In our neck of the woods we call that tool on your rack a pick mattox, which we also use for some trail building. Is it wrong I get the happys just seeing one of those things? Let's go mess with some dirt and rock!

Thanks, Hab! Been loving the rack, so far. You're right, that's a mattock axe, but I always forget, and call it a pulaski. Hahaha. I love that thing. It's been with me since I had the 1st gen 'Runner.

Haha. It's cool. Glad to be back in a Toyota, for sure!

Future plans... Finish paint. Roof top tent. Rebuild rear bumper/tire carrier/hitch/winch mount from scratch. On board air.

That should take me a while.

I'll have to go check out your build.

Congrats on winning the Arb recovery kit, looks like a fine addition.

Hey, which has proven more useful, the Hi-lift base or Wabbit's foot.....or still waiting to need either one?

Never used the wabbits foot. The Hi-Lift base is very handy in sand and snow.
