Hitman86's 2005 Tacoma Build-Up Thread (Red Berzerker)

Ok so here is my stock 05 Impulse Red Taco three weeks old to me on the trail and a couple hours before the incident...

First time I was able to get out and this happens...you pay to play right...

Read about the trip and see more pics here http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/off...0-09-pics.html

While I was really mad at myself for what happened, it turned out to be a mixed blessing. Insurance payed me some $$$ and I was able to go shopping and make it stronger, better and faster (ok maybe not faster but cooler for sure).

Here is the finished product so far...

Not the most current pictures, but some newer ones will be up in a week or so with my sliders, painted rims and rhino lined bumper in them.

Mods list:
All Pro Steel Plate Front Bumper
All Pro IFS Skid Plate
PIAA 510 Fog Lights
Bilstein 5100 at 1.75"
BHLM
Grill Craft MX Series insert
Added two D-Rings to bed
Avid Off Road Sliders
AFE Pro Dry S filter
Gibson Cat back exhaust
Camburg UCA 1" Uni-Ball (not on the truck yet)

Ordered: nothing right now but Santa is busy in his work shop...

Future list:
Winch of some kind
EMU 886 springs
Wheelers AAL
Rear Bilstein 5100's
Rear plate bumper
All Pro E-locker skid plate
All Pro Transfer case skid plate
Toyota FJ TRD rims Or American Eagle rims
Cooper Discover ST 265/75/16
URD Cold Air Intake with calibration ~Not sure on this yet~

HAHA. Does your ins. co. know you smashed it up on the TRAIL? That makes me want to go run into something ASAP. THe bumper looks beefy.

Actually yes they do, I was on a marked forest road so it was all covered under my Comprehensive.

I had actually not had any problems all day until I was coming home. I spun out on a dirt road and clipped the side of a dirt hill with the front of the truck, taking only the front bumper off. It was cheaper to buy the aftermarket bumper from All Pro then to have it put back to factory.
