It does hang down quite a bit, bit not as low as the stock reciever did. It's only because I have a 1" body lift and integrated receiver, so it needs to line up with the frame

even though it looks like it, it really doesnt hang down too far. It was 17 inches from the ground to the bottom of my old hitch receiver. Now its 22.5 inches from the ground to the bottom of the bumper. Tire carrier swingout should be done later this week

That bumper looks good! Too bad about the body damage though. I guess it just gives your rig a little more character. Keep up the good work.

Damn! did a awesome job you can take your cb antenna and install it to the bumper heard it had some damage after the flop, looks like its in the way anyway

My god that is so sexy, dude. You need to add 2 jerry can holders on the side, and relocate that CB antenna to the bumper now! Use the CB mount you have as a flag mount for Pismo!

I think I have a spot to mount a jerry can just above the latch, but It'll just be for wheeling trips I wont leave it on all the time. I like my antenna mount, Its easy to run the wire to and it wont get banged up on rocks!

sweet bumper man. turned out great. sorry to see the rig flopped on you. that dent where the antenna mount is at looks nasty - did the mount do that when it hit? does it leak right there now?

Yep, if it wasnt for that stupid mount I probably would have had no damage. Im gonna do my best to get it out but so far Ive had no luck. There is actually a puncture into the body, so I'm sure it leaks. I'm gonna try to bondo it after I fix the main dent. I guess I gotta start expecting stuff like this if I'm gonna wheel it, cant be in mint condition forever.

What coils do you have in there right now? Your sig says Toytec, but which ones..

Again I'm impressed with the amount of time and work you put towards that thing. Do you do all of your work up at home? I was home last weekend...that place wont stop getting snow!

After you fix it, you should make a half cage that goes from your rear bumper to your sliders. It looks sweet, and protects the panels nicely. I plan on doing it, ill get you some pictures for ya.

EDIT: If you look in this picture, see the back quarter panel? basically do that, but without the bars that go up to the top.

No damage for me, yet! Just scratches, and a bent rear bumper ( again ) Oh and from a buick about 2 years ago.

They are the stock coils, I just have toytec spacers on top of them, along with the stock shocks. Im gonna pick up a set of bilstein 5150's before I throw the LC coils in. I've always done just about everything at home, minus the exaust, lift, locker and the rear bumper was at a friends shop.
This snow is insane, I am so burned out by it. Supposedly its supposed to get back into the 70's next week so thats a good thing!

I've always wanted to do something like that, but I need a new DD first before I mod mine that heavily. Damn that 4runner is so badass though!

Matt - I cringe everytime I see that...but hey, at least your proud to wheel it!
