this is my '97 4 runner sr5 v6 5speed Before I Started Working On It Again I Had A 3''4Crawler Bl With A 3'' Revtech Spacer Lift. I Started Out by Upgrading From My 33'' Toyo A/T's and I Got Some 35'' Bfg Km2's. Then I Cut A Little Out Of The Firewall TO Get Some Space For ThE Next Project Which Was Cutting The Body Lift Down To 1'' So I Talked To 4Craler AbouT Cutting Down The Lift And Ordered Their 1'' Lift Hd Bolts.
Then Came The Fun Part. I Finally Got To Do Some Welding!
first I Cut Off The front Plates On The Frame And Welded On A Piece Of 2X3x3/16 Square tube.
i FigureD Since Warn Says In The Manual To Use 1/4'' Steel FOr The Winch Plate It Would Be Faster And More Cost Effective For Me To Just Buy A Winch Plate AnD Ballistic Fab Had ThE One That Worked Best For The Look I Was Going For.
got the winch plate mounted on
decided to reinforce the plate a little
mocking up the sides of the bumper

cut the grille a little to clear the winch.
Primed
painted finally
and the winch is in!! warn vr10,000 it was a pain to install the warn in the ballistic winch plate I had to trim some of the head off the bolts that hold the rollers due to the winch hitting the bolt heads.

Ok So I Have Been Planning A offroad Batchelor Party and Time Is Running OuT So I Skipped The Rear Bumper To Do A T Case Skid And A Skid For The Radiator. I Havent Taken My Runner Out On Trails Like We're GoIng To Be Traveling And I Was Wondering Would Leaving The Rear Bumper Help At All Or Would It Just Make More Damage If I Hit It On Something?
