2001 Taco build
Building this as a daily driver that will pull a boat trailer and a beer cooler. I got an 85 xtra cab for the deep mud. I have recently bought the truck and I feel like I got a great deal. Its a 3.4 5sp 4wd SR5 extra cab, came with 285 Buckshots Mudders on it that I love it. 108k miles is the part that makes this rig the rarest.
The PO had hit a deer and the passenger side fender and hood are aftermarket replacements. I believe one of the wheels was damaged or lost along the way because the factory spare is mounted in the back passenger side. I solved that problem ordered these rims and they will be mounted soon.
The truck is currently in the paint booth getting a fresh coat to match the factory black all the dents and dings removed and then it is going to have the horrible amber tint in the window removed and replaced with dark tint to match the paint and protect the truck from the florida heat and sun. It also now has a low pro black toolbox in the bed.
The interior is in great shape with pics of that to come soon as they are all on my I pad not my laptop, back seats look to be professionally covered in camo and I just installed a 2din ebay special stereo with backup camera that I picked up for 130 bucks brand new. im so excited to see this truck finished with the listed mods, This is the dream truck Ive always wanted and its gonna be the way I wanted, best part is its all paid for and it should be done in the next 6 weeks.
I might even let ole RedbayRedneck drive it when its all done.

I paid 7500 for the truck and they are not easy to come by in this part of florida like this, a lot of the times they are beat to death in the woods.

Searching around for tinting info, nothing specific found
Nice tint and nice rig, I suppose searching forever I might find here but...
I hear about 2 ways to install, one with water (soapy), or one using a heatgun.
The windows are out anyway and I got a slider rear at pick a part for $30
Yours came out really nice, which did you use?
I did the soapy water one on my 86 POS DD truck years ago, came out okay.
With the new 91 4X4 P/U I want to do a really nice job w/ 5% Limo.
That is if you did it yourself and didn't have it done pro..
Thanks
