Traxxi, not to hijack the thread, but was that the place in Glendale that runs ads on craigslist all the time? They seem to have a lot of 4Runner inventory. Just wondering how they are to deal with.

Very sweet looking build you have going there BTW.

"GGuy" the shop that did my gears is located in Lancaster Ca. Although I'm still not happy that I had to removed the diff. twice, the shop was able to setup the gears correctly on their second attempt. I'm just glad to be driving my truck again. Thanks for your comments BTW!

Wish you would have taken a pic of how you ran the wires to your PIAA Fog lights.

Well "kac0825", Yes I should had taken some pics. But wiring these lights is very easy. I wired my lights so that they will automatically turn on with the high beams. To achieve that, all you have to do is to connect the "red doted" white cable from the PIAA lights harness to the top wire of the driver's headlight. At soon as I get some pics I will post them.

Well Hello everyone! Its been a while since last time I've posted anything on the site. I haven't done anything else to the truck but thought I share a few pics of a desert trip I took a few days ago around California City:

Hey Jimmy it’s been quite some time since my last post. NO, after the new headlights, the PIAA 520's lights and the new grill, I haven't done anything else to the truck. Although, I have her in the garage right now out of commission waiting on a new set of NGK plugs and wires. Last Wednesday, she developed a really bad idle hesitation that quickly progressed into barely been able to idle. I discovered that #1 piston was not firing. Somehow the sparkplug wire inside the rubber boot was broke; this was enough to completely disable the #1 plug. I was shocked as to how rough she was running for having only one piston out of six. Hey did you moved already? How about you, have you done anything else to your truck? Right now I really would like to improve on the interiors, I really need to replace the floor carpets, and I've been wanting to order some custom made leather seat covers. I also need to replace my stereo.

I currently have a combined 4" of lift (3" suspension lift / 1" Body lift). The ride is very smooth for a lifted truck with 33" tires.I do have some tire rubbing issues in with the fronts. Even though I dont' have any complaints about this lift, I will like to eventually upgrade my front suspension to coilovers. I believe that by doing that I can acheive 3.5" of lift. If I can achieve that, then I will be able to correct the tire rubbing in the front., and have my truck seating perfectly level. Right now my trucks seats about 1/2" lower in the front. If you are looking for a budget lift, then the Toytec spacer lift is the way to go. Good luck!! Thanks for your comments!

No, I currently have the Toytec 3" front spacers on factory struts/coils. I'm planning on replacing those with the Toytec coilovers. According to Toytec, with the coilovers you can acheive 3.5" of front lift, which is what I need in order to correct the tire rubbing issues.

You will be happy with the spacers. If it wasn't becasue the tire rubbing and the fact I'm still running fatory coils in the front (rears are new) I would keep my current setup. I've running the spacers now for over two years with no complains. I paid for the front spacers and loger rear coils, to achieve a all around 3" suspension lift, $299.00 You can't go wrong for that price!!!

Love your truck, very tasteful mods, really like the grill turned out great. Where did you find the TRD emblems my LIMITED emblems are missing and that looked like a cool replacement.

Thanks Jason! I found the TRD emblems in Ebay, for the one mounted on the grill, I paid $19.99 with shipping from Hong Kong, the other two came as a set and they were about $20.00+- with shipping. They only took about 10 days to arrive.
