Yota Techers I need your help

I have a 97 Runner and I am having an clicking sound on the passenger side of my steering rack. I can feel some sort of vibrations when the click happens if I touch the Tie-rod. The clicking is getting worse the longer it goes on. Any body have an suggestions as to what this is?

I'm going to say its your cv's but it'd help if you gave a more thorough explanation of the problem and what you do that makes it make noise (i.e. turning the wheel, certain speeds?, etc.)

When you say steering gear tube, are you referring to the tube that connects the left and right bellows? I'll take a look at mine tomorrow but as far as I know there should be minimal to no movement by that tube.

Yep, it is 4wd.

I would think it should have NO movement so that it is steering the wheels. If it moves, not all steering movement is getting to the wheels.

THe arrow is pointing at the tube in question. It is what houses the rack on the passenger side.
