Yep, sorry, another stupid "what tire should I get" thread

Okay I've narrowed it down to just two tires. I'm looking for input from guys who've had/have the Dunlop Radial R/T. I'd never noticed it before, not sure if it's new or what. It's a cross between an A/T and a M/T. Check them out here.

I read the reviews, but you can't really trust billy bob the idiot to be a tire expert.

And of course the competition is the Revo.

So cost is basically the same. I expect superior snow and offroad performance out of the R/T, but better on road and wet performance out of the Revo. I'm sure the Revo's will last a few Kmiles longer. But I'm looking for input on those that have had the R/T for some help. I've heard all the rave reviews about the Revo's already, and know Bridgestone makes a good A/T, as I've had some Dueler A/Ts about 6 years ago, and they were good tires.

my experience with dunlops (i have lame a/t radial rovers now) is that they wear really well, but theyre not very grippy. they perform adequately in all situations, but they dont stand out.

thats just my opinion.

Lee thanks for the speculation. I was really looking for people with experience. I don't doubt Dunlops are fine tires, just like I know Bridgestones are, heck the truck came stock with the 'lops, but no where close to what the R/T is.

revos are beautiful tires but suck in mud. low road noise aggressive in the rain & snow as you said. but getting out of mud forget it. i m definitely going for some m/ts next time around
