Yakima Roof Rack w/ Pics

Hi all,
After my poll and much consideration I decided to go the Yakima route for my roof rack solution. I have a few Yakima products already and their customer and warranty service is second to none.

I purchased a Yakima LoadWarrior on e-bay, then went to cheaphondaparts.com to get the best price on just about everything else. Click here for their Yakima Selection They also feature $12.50 shipping on the whole order which is huge with the potential shipping costs on this kind of stuff. In retrospect, I should have bought the basket there too, since it would have only cost me about $10 more than the e-Bay price once shipping was considered. The Yakima LoadWarrior can also be mounted to the factory rack, though I do not think it is nearly as sturdy as the Landing Pad-Control Tower set-up. Plus, with the Control Towers, you can take the whole rack off of the truck in less than 30 seconds if you need to.

Here is my setup:
Landing Pad 1 (2 Sets) #00221(to attach the towers to the factory roof rack tracks)
Control Towers #00214 (to attach the Crossbars to the Landing Pads)
48” HD Crossbars #00408
Locking Bracket #07064 (Locks the basket to the bars)
LoadWarrior Basket #07070
LoadWarrior Extension #07074
LoadWarrior Stretch Net #07072
SK Lock Cores – 12 Pack #07222 (to have all my Yakima stuff keyed alike)

A Few Pics from the weekend, some even have the Rack in them…

hey so did your truck not come with the factory rails? Did it have just those two black strips on both sides? Would you be able to take a close up shot of how it is attached to your roof?

Because all mine did was come with 2 black strips on both sides, no tracks or anything. I was wondering if something could lock up to those.

Btw, looks really nice.

edit: Ok I just re-read your post, you have tracks, I don't

Hey, looks good.
Those are very good prices too on Yakima gear.

I really dig my Load Warrior.
They just recently came out with that Hi-Lift acc., but I like the way my Hi-Lift mounts better.
It's less weight on the rack itself, and the weight is distributed on the crossbars instead.

I have access to the Pacific Crest trail not to far from me.
If I start now, I could be down your way in a month to check out your rig
