Would you buy it ????(I found a cool runner)
OK this is what I found
95 4Runner Limited, V6, A/T, Leather Seats, rear heater, etc.
ARB Bumper with Warn M8000 winch
Custom rear bumper with tire carrier and jerry can
All Pro rock sliders
33x12.5x15 BFG M/T KMs
15x7 Mickey Thompson Classic II wheels.
Rancho 9000 shocks
Sway Away 25mm torsion Bars
Rockstomper IFS brace
Aisin manual hubs
Rockstomper swaybar disconnects
ProComp Panhard drop bracket
Downey 1 1/2" rear springs
Daystar 1 1/4" rear spring spacers
4.88 gears
Detroit EZ locker in front
Detroit soft locker in rear
low profile bump stops
1" Roger Brown body lift
146,000 mi , rust free , minor scratches & dents ,auto tranny
They want 9000 $.
What do you think ? Ive been looking for a 2nd gen runner for EVER and this is almost exactly what I want (minus the auto tranny) but other than that it is what I want . What would you do , is there any thing I should ask about . Thanks alot guys .

Looks like a solid setup except for the gears. Some auto tranny'd trucks/runners came stock with 4.88 gears to make up for the power loss of running 31" tires. I can tell you right now that thing's gonna be slow. Make sure you at least drive it first before you buy so you'll know what you'll be dealing with. Other than that, it's a nice find.

WoW! Sound's like a monster of a rig. I wanna see pics of this beast. Price tag is high but think about all that he has put into it. Its worth it if its in as good of cond. as you say it is. Lets see those pics though.

Only thing that would turn me off big time is the fact it is an auto

I'd go for it...I paid $7800 for my '95 and its not a limited, no leather seats, no rear heater. It did have a set of brand new BFG A/T's on it though. I have a few less miles too...it had around 125k when I first got it...its got over 126,000 now.
Sounds like a good one to me man, I just wish I could have found that before you!!!

Yeah, that is Leo's. Too bad he is letting it go.
What are your goals?
That rig, out of the box, will put you on almost all but the extreme buggy trails.
It is well taken care of and has been worked on by tons of knowledgable people.
As for the 4.88's, Dave makes a good point. If you want to swap them, you will basically be dumping the entire diff to get 5.29's, but that is only if those are stock 4.88's.
I run the same set-up with 5.29's and I really love the 5.29's. Do you want to drive a rocket ship or a trail rig that will get you on 9's out of 10, or 4's out of 5?

Well If I do get this rig It will be my DD . It would only see trail time maybe 15 % of the time (alot more during the winter) , where I live the only really good time to go wheeling is in the winter in the snow . but also I will be driving it on the icy roads this winter so thats kinda another thing that scares me(lockers+ice) So probally one of the first things I would do is open up the diffs and swap in 5.29s pull the lockers out and put arbs in . if the budget allows , other wise Ill have to just go with one arb in the back and open in the front.
Ill have to check into if those are stock gears . Also Ill be needing to get rid of my 85 runner if I get seriose about this , which I would like to

No they didn't Cebby.. Only the automatic V6 4Runners with the 31" package came with 4:88's The stick shift's came with 4:56's.. And yes, the Limited was avaiable with a 5spd for a year and a half.. With Leo's truck being an automatic, and a Limited it would put it stock with 4:88's (I know all the Limited's came with the wide tire package )
$9k?? Go for it, that is a hell of a nice truck..

Sorry Cebby.. didn't read you post corectly..
Also I gotta stand a bit corrected.. IMHO, I would look for a diffrent truck if you are not going to wheel it.. a locked 33" 4Runner IMHO makes a crappy daily driver.. Look for a nice Limited with 31's stock, and a set of the stock running boards and drive it.. (Yes, I think the running boards are killer for on-road protection) I think you will get sick of the lack of power. crappy mileage, and cost of parts, 33's are expensive and off-road tires wear quickly.. When you start shelling out $800 or so to replace the tires every 30-40k you will start to hate it...

I've got a '94 4runner I'll be selling soon. The engine quit on me out of the blue. I will be selling for a lot less as a result. The truck itself is in great shape. I haven't really done alot of mods so whoever gets it will have a blank slate pretty much. If anyone is interested let me know.

Sounds to me like you're buying more truck than you need. If you off road 15% of the time and in snow only this truck is overkill. Another thing to consider is mods that improve off road usually make the vehicle worse on road.
Secondly if you want a 5spd you will be disappointed getting an automatic.
Thirdly (?) for $9000 you can get a 3rd gen with similar mileage all day long. For you driving, if you're not scared of the mileage that would be my recommendation.

By the time you swap the diffs for 5.29's with at least one ARB, you will be looking at another 3k or so out of pocket.
I would not drive a doubly auto-locked rig in the snow and ice of Montana.
Sweet rig, yes.
Right rig for a daily, probably not.
