Wider wheels

I have a little problem. The wheels I have on my 4Runner are much wider than the stock wheels. Every time I start to lose traction, I roll down my window, stick my head out and watch the tires during my next attempt. And every time - I get mud, snow, dirt, or a ford emblem stuck to my face. This has happened to me dozens of times and I don't seem to learn my lesson. Somebody please tell me that this is normal and that I do not need professional help. Your support is greatly needed . Thank you.

Might I suggest a nice set of fender flares. Or else a fullface helmet/helmet & Goggles combo.

It's normal for less offset to do that. I second the wider flare/flap idea.
