Why Macco Paint is good....

Ok get this hehe,

I have started my SAS, so right now my truck in all apart , so i figured I would do some touch ups to the paint / chips etc... Well I want to the store and got prep tape, and tapped on the parts I was going to paint, well I did what I needed to do and then when I took the tape off, off came the paint LOL...

So note to self, MACCO=BAD

Dont get me wrong, I wheel all the time, so paying for a 5,000+ pain job would be a waist of money, but MACCO paint comes off with tap thats too silly..... , anyhow I found spray paint that matches to the T , so I dont care looks good from a mile away

Yea, they and their paint suck. We had a car painted by them 4 times before it came out right. As far as paint coming off, the manager of Maaco told us a story while we were there. They had just painted a dump truck a few days before, when the manager drives by the place they store the trucks. The driver was using a pressure washer to clean his newly painted truck and stripped every piece of new paint that was on it off.

If people know most body shops charge at least a couple grand for a proper paint job I don't see how they expect a $299 job to to be the same quality.
