Where are my zerks?

I was in the process of some maintenance on my wife's 98 2WD. I changed the diff fluid and was going to grease the u-joints, but the are no grease zerks anywhere on either on the u-joint. are there suppose to be any? or are the sealed bearings. I have the Toyota type u-joints(not dana). Another thing, do I need to replace the tranmission filter in the pan when I change the tranny fluid? I know on my truck they say there is no need to cahnge the screen, but what about the 4Rnr? Thanks for your help!

in my A340H its a metal screen. really not something you replace. i washed it out good and put it back in.

U-joints could have been replaced with non zerk ones. or maybee the 2wd didnt get any cause they figure its not in the same harsh 4wd enviorment.

The 2wd's came with the so-called 'lubed-for-life' U-joints. No zerk fittings.
