Where are the most Runners?

Since I have not yet travelled to every town in our great country, I can't really say for certain, but I'm willing to bet that right here in Boulder, CO, we've got on of the highest people/4Runner ratios you'll ever see anywhere. One of my favorite games is to trick my girlfriend into trying to get in to a Runner that's not ours, and when there's one every 5th parking slot, it's not too hard.

I would think you are right, when i went to Breck. I saw more runners in Co than I have ever seen in my life.

I agree. Colorado has one of the highest numbers of 4runners anywhere I have been in the west. They are everywhere, especially 2nd gens. I think it has alot to do with the terrain and the outdoor lifestyle associated with Colorado (skiing, fishing, camping, 4wheeling, hiking...you name it). I have never been somewhere and see so many Toyota 4x4s. I am from PHX area and we have quite a few out here, but its nothing compared to CO. I spent a week in Lake City, CO and traveled all over that region in my 4runner. Great country...San Juans are killer...so is the fly fishing.

They are everywhere here for sure. You would think that with all those 4Runners around that it would be easy to get a good deal on one, but that is not the case. Demand is so high for them here that I eventually went out of state to buy mine so that I wouldn't have to pay so damn much! I live in Denver and they are all over the place. Next in line here is probably the Subaru Outback (as far as quantity goes anyway) because they are so good in the snow! It's probably different in Boulder, but here in Denver I would say that 80% of the Runners are driven by women. That's fine with me because it just makes my rig (without running boards and with BFG AT's) look that much less like a soccer-mom's "car" (as they call them).

Yeah - I'd say that trend is probably the exact opposite here in Boulder. I'll also add that the outback/4Runner ratio here is probably equal, and that Tacos are by FAR the most popular pickup of any size. It's cool to get to see so many Runners to get ideas for mods and all that jazz...

I think Colorado might hold that distinction since I've read that we are the SUV capital of America with more SUVs per capita than any other state and we have the most Subarus per capita also.

Even with all the 4Runners around here, I've only seen two others the same color as mine. (Azure Blue)

I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing tho.
My wife keeps giving me hard time about it being a girly color =\

There are a lot in Colorado and New Mexico, but I think the highest concentation I've seen was in Queensland Australia. After all, that's where ARBs and TJMs were born.
