Where to find a 35mm socket in Denver?

Ok, so I've stopped by a Checker Auto parts, Napa, and a Big Tool Box.

None of them had a 35mm socket. Or had even heard of one.

I called 2 other Checker Auto Parts and they said 35mm sockets aren't made/don't exist.

what the heck?

I bought the 36mm and it is definitely too big for the axle nut.

Does anyone know of any other places in Denver that carry this socket size?

Thnx!

Just called Sears - said the biggest size they carry is 32mm. =\

I currently only have a 3/8" and 1/2" drive.
Looks like I might need a 3/4" or 1" drive for this size socket?

(i have no air tools either..)

Just get an adapter for it (3/4 to 1/2). That's what I did for my 2 1/8" - 3/4 drive.

MSC carries the socket but it's not stocked in their Denver store.
Guess I'll prob end up just ordering it online.

I'm tempted to buy a 34mm tonight just to see if it fits...

I just finished a CV boot replacement. I too couldn't find a 35mm socket. But a 1 3/8" socket worked great. It is a 3/4" drive socket so you'll have to get an adapter for 1/2".

Just remember to re-torque it back down to 174ft-lbs when done.

It's the size the 3rd gen guys need for the front axle nut.

Crux, bummer on the hassle you're having. I bought mine (1/2" drive) at a Schucks.
