Wheelers Offroad....

I've read numerous threads on how their 15" black steel wheels won't fit a 3rd gen runner unless you do a couple of mods. Strange thing is, I just called them and they say that they'll fit without any issues.....errrrr...

The only reason I see running a 15" tire is the price difference.

i think the issue was that if the 4runner had 16" wheels stock, then they might have also ahd larger calipers as well...

Yeah, I had e-mailed them in regards to that as well, maybe a year and a half ago, and was told that they would not fit a 3rd gen that came with 16" rims.

LOL! Well I told them that I had a 1998 4Runner with 16" wheels and they stated that the 15's would fit. I asked them what would happen if they didn't fit and he stated that I could just return them as long as a tire has not been mounted on them.

15" on tacoma

I just happen to run stock 4Runner 15" wheels from my old 94. I have run them on my Tacoma with no problems what so ever... There's my two cents.

I'm almost positive I read about someone putting 15" on their 4runner that had 16" and having to grind some part of their breaks to make em fit.

Yeah I thought I read somewhere where you had to grind down a part of the caliper, but I wonder if it'd really be worth it.
