Question Wheel Application

I'm selling a set of alloy SR5 wheels off my 94 Toy 4X4 on eBay. A potential buyer is asking whether the wheels will fit a 1999 SR5 truck. I have no idea whether they will or not. Can someone tell if the 1994 wheels will fit a 1999. The wheels I'm selling are the standard alloys, 15X7, 8mm offset.

Thanks,

(1) Ask what he has on there now and compare numbers.

(2) Tell him to come over for a test fit.

(3) Same bolt pattern, same make vehicle, my guess is that they would fit.

Worse comes to worse he can measure what he has on there now as the only issue I see is backspacing/offset and brake caliper issues.

Question

1) He has stock 15" steel spoked wheels on his 1999 truck.

2) He couldn't possibly come over to try them on since he could live anywhere in the US.

3) I don't think Toyota has ever changed their 6 lug bolt pattern. Still 6 on 5.5.

4) The real question is whether there is a clearance problem with the brake calipers on the 1999. Anyone have an answer to this question?

You might get an answer if you deleted this thread and started a new one entitled something like this?

"Will a 1994 rim fit on a 1999 truck?" just make it specific and then in the thread ask your specific questions. One entitled "Wheel application" isn't going to get a lot of hits as they are a dime a dozen and it isn't a specific question. Does that make sense?

Good luck.
